when i first heard this song, i was a bit weird myself (and still am! lol) and it put my feelings into words. who hasn't felt gawky and awkward at times? if you're totally honest with yourself, you know you have... especially when you go to school and stuff. anyway, i loved this song, still do, and when i have kids... i'll sing it to them. feeling out of place will always be an obstacle, no matter what year it is. |

no comments? come on people, this song rocks! you don't know what you're doing or what's going on, yet everyone's looking at you like "well, will you decide for me?" plus the music is great. there's two basic parts of a song- the lyrics, and what helps the lyrics get stuck in your head for years at a time- the instruments, the beat, whatever you want to call it. i haven't heard this song in forever because my CD got lost when we moved, but i automatically remembered once i read the first few lines. i love this song, as i do most of their music. they're a great band. |

this song is so totally about memories that you hang onto and remember as you get older. i mean, Penny isn't an actual girl, she's cumulative memories from over the years that you think about as you grow up. like rolling the windows down, turning the radio up and pushing the pedal to the ground. that's something you remember because you had fun doing it... i love hanson!!! if you don't because you've never even given them a chance, you've got some head problems! i listen to this song when i'm feeling crappy, and right away i feel good. it's totally about holding on to your friends and living life before you're gone... give them a chance. even i'll admit this was a little too pop-ish for me, but not all of their music is like this. it's gotten so much deeper over the years. and vikas is right. it is a cute song. a cute happy song that we need to hear once in a while. |

i found this CD at a used CD store, because by the time i got into Hanson... well, it was only last year. i loved this song immediatly. i love Zac's voice, both then and now. i love most of their songs... but this is another of my favorites. |

when he says "in this life long love song/you can love right you can love wrong/in this love song you can love long/and if you love wrong it doesn't mean love's gone..." that's so beautiful. i know, i'm such a hopeless romantic, and i'm only 14, but i love this song. it's saying that just because love isn't perfect doesn't mean it's not there anymore... it would have to be considered a favorite of mine. |
