to me, it's about the simple moments in life that mean the most, times when you feel really alive.
i associate the song with the amazing friends i found at college. we all "get" each other... we can sit around for hours and pretty much do nothing together..and it's the best thing in the world. just being with them is enough, and i think that's what the song is saying. |

This is one heck of a song. The person singing is so frustrated with a relationship and feels the other is putting words in their mouth and also not believing everything they say. I think a lot of it is about trust. The person singing is committed and took everything to heart and the other just doesn't care. And the song in general is saying, "But honestly? Come on! You know the truth!" You can hear the sadness and anger in the lines, "If you want them back, I'll give it to you. I don't want one thing that I gave to you." I'm a fairly new Foo fan and this is the song that really made me want to hear more from them. Amazing. |

This song is wonderful. I never get tired of it. Like others have said, I think the song is talking about reliving old memories through music and how songs just take you back. |
