| One of my favorite songs. Ever..it reminds me of the best of times in life just hangin' with my closest friends, just making the best of life with what you are given even if that may not be much..but it is something, and something special. It makes me want to get out of this town..go somewhere else..just travel with no destination ahead of me. with my best of friends along by my side....I like the line.."and it wiped all the blood off my halo." It just sounds so totally awesome, it's undescribable. | |

Mr. Desmond Deker got a crown made of gold...clever that is if you think about it! I didn't get it at first, and even before that, I didn't know who this Desmond deker was. I just started listening to him, ahhh amazing music is all I can say. Then I put it all together..this man, Mr. Desmond Deker is the king of ska, a big influence to many of ska bands such as Common Rider, so therefore he wears this crown because he is king, king of ska! Well besides that, this is an amazing song, and I agree with the person who posted above..I think that this song also shows Jesse's love for music. This song just makes me love music even more than I already love music because it is a song that shows love for music. Beutiful! |

I have a story to share..it's sickening, and it just shows how phucked up our world can be. One day I was in history class. There is this kid in my class, and he is a very racist, prejudice, and filled with a lot of hate. Well, one time, i guess he was bored in class, and he wanted to share his hate. He made this doll like figure thing out of tape that was supposed to resemble a black person. Then he took a piece of string and tied it around his neck like it was a noose. He then wrote something on it, I can't remember exactly what it said. He gave this to the teacher, and told the teacher to hang it on the classroom wall. Of course the teacher didn't hang it on the wall, but the kid didn't get in trouble either. He was just told to apologize to the class for his actions. Then someone asked him why he was so racist. He answered with, "where i grew up (new york), the neighbor hood was very nice, until a bunch of black people moved into the neighbor hood. That's when the crime began in that neighbor hood, and kids would steel bikes, and it just became a bad area to live, etc., that's why we moved here." He said something along the lines of that, though I don't pay attention much in class, so i don't remember much, though this caught my attention. But anyways, I read this thing in a booklet that came with one of my records.. "Many people will accept a person of another race if he has adapted to their culture, but not if he hasn't. This is supposed to mean that racism is not present. But racism isn't the only problem. The greater problem is that people of different cultures, classes, values and ideas can't tolerate each other. Not until people treat and judge each other as individuals instead of types, classes, and groups can the real problem be fought." -Jeff of Crimpshrine |

| This song is awesome, the best on the album in my opinion. Though it takes forever to get to it because it's a hidden track. But so good, so good, it makes me want to listen to it over and over again. | |

^I would rather be homeless and be in a respected nonsellout band then i would have three million dollars and be in a sellout band. Has anyone heard the re-mix of this song? I'm not sure which album it's on but it's on one of them, and it's awesome. |
