heres how i interept the song "Crowded streets are cleared away One by one Hollow heroes separate As they run" so many people were standing in the way of this girls problems, and as she gave up everything and just started not caring about shit she just became really depressed "cold" and there is a guy that she has been seeing for awhile and refuses to see that she has the world sitting in front of her hence this next line "You're so cold, Keep your hand in mine Wise men wonder while strong men die" the chorus the best that i can explain it in my own words would be now that she is giving up on anything and everything including him he is going to stand by her side and wanting anything to give it another try "Show me how it ends, it's alright Show me how defenseless you really are Satisfied and empty inside That's alright Lets give this another try" the next verse is now that she is in the world of depression and and she cant find her friends her family and most important her love. the man is trying to pull her out of this depression and see the light and thats why he asks to hold her hand one last time to see if he can change it If you find your family, Don't you cry In this land of make believe, Dead and dry You're so cold but you feel alive Lay your hand on me One last time and the end he is just telling her that "ITS ALRIGHT!!!" and yes i fucking love this song i can play it 20x over and still fucking sing along with it at the top of my lungs |
