yes, i agree with u, but i think its more that 'the patient mental' or the person being drivin to self hate. They withdraw from everything, yet is still ridiculed. i somewhat agree with alll of you but it is about how evil humans really are (Internal primates Forever) and that there is no hope in hell that we can save ourselves. Fuck peace, there is no way to get it. Only way for peace on earth is "solve et coagula" destroy humans to create world peace. |

I think it is about no matter how cold the world is, you have to live. You cannot close urself off, because by doing that, ur giving up, afraid and weak. I just relised i didn't accually write about what i thought thsi song is about... I think it is about love, and how he never truly knew what it was, or how it felt. He only knew hate, because that was what he was given. And then when he is saying "you're mine" he is talking about his wife/girlfriend Scarlet, and slipknot/stone sour as a whole, and how they are part of his life, and is feeling loved. |

This song, which is just a continuition of vermillion, could be anything. She could be anything, as i said before... coreys mind is either really intelligent, or really fucked up, either way, whatever it is, is working. I think i may be wrong... o well I think this is about, along with duality (the state of being two things at once) the change in music, its about how people always doubted them. "I don't know why, you never asked me I don't know why, you never cared " here he is saying that no one ever thought he could accually sing, no one thought they could do anything but the pounding, ear blasting sounds they have, (which i love just as much as this new album). Don't doubt what you don't know. |
