4 words: fuckin' amazing the synth dub in this song is killer and is such a late night jam. musically, nothing on this album can really compare (but empty cans comes in a close second) mike skinner outdid himself with beauty on this one. "Maybe i shouldnt have done the second one, i feel all fidgety and warm..." a song about trying to meet up with some friends, probably his love interest, at a club and not finding them. in the mean time, skinner takes some pills and starts trippin' out. with the storyline of this album (life is tough, find a girl, life gradually gets better, then a fade in love from the girl and evenutally a breakup) this is a nice in between events, chill song. and a word about the last 2 tracks on the album, dry your eyes and empty cans: its a good way to sum up the end of a breakup, a very well-crafted, sad song about lost love, and then an angry angst-filled revenge-type song reolving into a rather nice string piece of realization of actions and that everything is ok. just something me and my friend talked about in the car while listening to this album. |

| this song is just amazing. the whole cd is definately full of some downer type songs and this one takes them all. its just really sad thinking of love fading or not working, and watching it go. the wrens have done an incredible job of capturing the emotion of the worst part of a breakup. | |
