| Starsailor – Silence is Easy Lyrics | 21 years ago |

Great song and neat video. In the video, there are parts where James doesn't sing and then picks up where he left off. Maybe because these moments are ones that affect him the most. Anyways, I think this song is about going through life and turning away from problems because they are so overwhelming. Silence is often the easiest way out. I think it also has to do with gossip and negative comments made against the writer. He is struggling because he doesn't know why they hate him. They just made judgments without knowing him. |

i agree with escapetonight. i think it's about seeing thing through a child's eyes or another innocent when the world is magical, there are no cares or worries, and when imagination runs free. There also may be something else associate with this song. Can't put my finger on it yet. I'm talking about the line "...marvelous thing, but they are giving me the creeps. dark nights hold tight." Maybe coming of age? I don't know! Agh! It's a beautiful song. Love Eisley, does anyone know if they're going on tour and when if they are? |

| Red Hot Chili Peppers – Under the Bridge Lyrics | 21 years ago |

Great song. This song is about Anthiny Kedis' addiction to heroin and his withdrawals from it. He feels as if he is all alone and has no companion except the city he lives in. He calls the city of Los Angeles, the "City of Angels", a nickname. Kedis has a close, intimate relationship with the city he lived in. He doesn't want to feel addicted again because under the bridge he forgot about his love of life and essentially gave his life away. When he says" under the bridge downtown is where I drew some blood", it's blatantly showing that under the bridge was the epicenter of Kedis's addiction. peace, love, empathy. |

| Nirvana – Something in the Way Lyrics | 21 years ago |

Love this song! One of my favorite Nirvana songs. I don't think it's about Kurt running away, living under a bridge, whatever. i think this song doesn't have quite that literal meaning. I think it's about being trapped by different things (maybe insecurites, w/e), and then Kurt tries to reassure himself. This song is very dark and melencholy. I think it's about trying to accomplish a goal, but always having "something in the way" to keep you from it. He repeats "something in the way" many times in this song, showing that this has significant importance. Alright, later! peace, love, empathy, |
