I think there's another bit to this. On the version I have at the beginning it goes something like: "You’re London, I’m Sri-Lankan I’m ? Grove, you’re Camden Right then, it’s on London Tower, the dungeon On the bus, on the train, like-a heroin in your vein Giving me some Princess Di And my man ain’t your Dodi Fayed" |

| Does anyone know what "Oi Ga-Ra-To..." etc. mean? (If they mean anything). | |
| The Velvet Underground – Beginning to See the Light Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I like the way it says "wine in the morning and some breakfast at night". It sort of says just do what you want and don't care about anyone else and you'll be happy. I don't think it's sarcastic, I think that it's just describing one mood that everyone probably feels at some point. Really though I think it's impossible to not care about anyone else. | |

| I think it's quite sad really. There's a sort of Cinderella-y story but there isn't a happy ending. | |
| The Velvet Underground – I Found A Reason Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I always thought this was quite a sweet song and I really liked the line "I found a reason to keep living" but I read in an interveiw with Lou Reed that he wrote it quite ironically. | |
