I freakin love this album, it AWSOME, RADICAL, TUBULAR even. to me this song seems to be about religion. at the end of breathe reprise he says: Far away across the field The tolling of the iron bell Calls the faithful to their knees To hear the softly spoken magic spells right after this great gig in the sky starts, the tittle even seems to be a reference, and the sound of clairs voice almost sounds gospelesque - is that a word?. well thats my take on it, it could even be seen as a critical view of religion if you think about it, so much noise and nothing really to say :? |
