| Mclusky – Alan Is A Cowboy Killer Lyrics | 20 years ago |

There's definitely a sexual/porn theme to this song. examples: "pull up your pants, now the camera crew is gone" "wipe up his mess, pay your fluffers by the yard" Also I believe Falco is actually english and moved to whales. |

"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, All good children go to heaven" is a reference to the beatles song "you never give me your money" where the counting only goes up the seven, but the line the same otherwise. |

| Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show – Sylvia's Mother Lyrics | 21 years ago |

shel silverstein (wrote silly poems, funny cartoons in playboy magazine) wrote a number of dr. hook songs... and I'm fairly sure he wrote this one too. anyway, i think it's intentionally overdone to mock the typical overdramatic love song. |

I've got nothing to add concerning the meaning, but "you say you want a revolution" and "you say you wanted evolution" were most probably taken from the beatles song Revolution...where the lines are "you say you want a revolution" "you tell me that's its evolution" |

| Nirvana – Milk It Lyrics | 21 years ago |

This is my fav nirvana song, but I don't completely understand it. Things that I have picked up on though is that he seems to be contradicting himself. He originally says he's his own parasite, which is like independence, not wanting to have the help of others. But he follows that up with feeding off of somebody else & sharing, which would be dependence. Also obituary birthday seems like a contradiction, or a juxtaposition of opposites at least, although the reincarnation idea makes sense. Another thing to note is that the chemical in heroin is a competitor for endorphins. I think if you're attempting to overcome a heroin addiction, you will not have as much endorphins as you should... but I'm not positive about that last part. |
