The lyrics aren't entirely correct. Below is the correction, just regarding 3 lines (lines 7-9 of shelmerdinefan72's post). And don't flood up the lyrics section by reposting these under a new song title. If you wanna have them alter what was posted fine else don't make a mess like tons of idiots do. thx and enjoy the corrections. ------- Fell asleep today North Ontario Woke up far away A place I didn’t know A woman smiled at me She said, "welcome to my home" Life is different here she said it's not Camouflage with gold And hey, leave a light on for me Hey, leave a light on for me Might not make it home Can we fear tonight Not afraid to live Not afraid to die And hey, leave a light on for me And hey, leave a light on for me |

| The reason the lyrics don't contain the rest of the lyrics is because finger eleven's site doesn't contain that part in their lyrics. Hey go figure, people can't check the lyrics before they copy and paste to contribute. And if this is how an 'edited version' sounds, you should be ashamed for buying cds at walmart. | |

Seeing how this is their first cd and they probably used it as demos not to know anyone too famous I'm gonna guess this whole song isnt a failing relationship but a failed one. The lyrics "you've got that feeling again" imply to the endless cycle some people go through going back out with someone even though they know it can't go anywhere (See: "It won't be long enough") simply because they aren't strong enough to let go. (See: "But it may never end I know") The first 2 lines are something you'd say looking at the one you were with seeing them suffering the whole time being lonely. Lines 3-6 would be him saying he wants to be with this person (Hopefully girl) and knowing he shouldn't having will. The rest you can just figure out on your own and fyi, I'm taking an educated guess on the meaning after buy this cd since it came out first and once again after that cd was dead. Don't see this being too wrong, as for the lyrics, I'm not reading through it but finger eleven's site has the lyrics to all except walking in my shoes (they didn't write it, its a cover). |
