I agree that this song is inspired by both the novel Of Mice and Men and by their Christian beliefs, however has anyone else noticed a few references that could be to George W.? "Failed attempts to fly" could be refering to his failed air force days when he went AWOL, and "More than the wars of our fathers" could definitly be GW going into Iraq like his father. I'm not positive but it raises questions. |

This song is amazing, i'm not the hugest slipknot fan but i got this album before it even came out in Canada (my best friend is a die-hard fan and got it off the net) and i've been listening to it, this song is amazing, anyways it makes me think of a person having bad experiences with love and maybe questioning whether or not true love exists, I have questioned that anyways, and thats what this song reminds me of. |

I can't believe that you guys didnt understand the video (although it appears to be unrelated to the lyrics). The girl never got hit by the car, did you see her get hit?
