They are from Issaquah, a suburb of Seattle, so of course its common that they have a somewhat negative outlook on life. Depression is rampant in Seattle because so much of the rest of the country plus the rain just makes us this way. Myself, I'm tormented by my life and current society and this song hits the spot. Its so hard when life just bores you because everything is so ordinary and nothing new happens. Combine that with the fact that you are an engineer who is smarter then 90 percent of people out there (yes a little arrogant but true). People have a hard time understanding what life is and they run away from the reality that we spend all of our days performing tasks that really won't ever matter. We do take time every once in awhile to do important things like visit family. I think that we could all spend more time with the people we care about and less time working. When you work too much your outlook becomes that of this song and similar to the one I have. DONT WORK TOO MUCH :) |

This song is so on the money its frightening. It makes me sad because it makes me think about how we let our world be controlled by collective decisions based on how to increase profits. How is that a good way to run this place? It used to make me angry but now I just get sad and this song brings forth that emotion. |

| This song reminds me of why I don't watch the news. I get my news online because its usually positive stuff about new technologies and innovations. I like to hear about the progress human society is making rather then each time it makes a mistake. Well I think its funny how you can say he sucks. At least ackowledge the fact that hes a good artist. Any artist that can sell as much albums as he has deserves credit whether you like his music or not. Neways I like this song cause he says he doesn't give a shit about whatever the fuck it is. Sometimes the best thing to do is just say fuck it who cares and despite if you like him or not you know that everyone wishes they could do this sometimes but ends up acting like a child instead. |

| Well its obvious that natural instinct tells us that we need to be free and that its bullshit that any other person has the right to tell you what to do because what makes him so good that he can command you?
