| to me this is about childhood 'in polaroids, you were dressed in women's clothes' (as in a child's game of dressup, played perhaps, by his brother.) This same brother, I think, might have also fought with his parents. I always thought that Conor's older brother (Matt or Justin) taught him music. Perhaps this wasn't accepted in the house. Perhaps it erupted in the brother deserting the family and Conor witnessing the ordeal. When the brother returned, Conor was grateful, but had found his niche in sad songs and a crutch in alcohol. Any other opinions? | |
