| Mushroomhead – The Wrist Lyrics | 21 years ago |

"Greedo died by the hands of Solo" that is purely a Star Wars reference. Greedo was the bounty hunter hired by Jabba the Hut to kill Han Solo, but when he tried, Solo was able to kill him first. If you notice J Mann talks about Solo in "The Wrist" and in "Solitaire/Unraveling." In one interview I read with him, he loves Star Wars, so that explains why he puts them in there. Also it shows that Mushroomhead doesnt' really put as much thought into their lyrics as well all think, they just put they lyrics together because it makes for a good record and a good show. Some certainly do have deeper meanings, but so many are put there just for fun. |

| Mushroomhead – Solitaire Unraveling Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| ok, this may just be an oversimplification, but in an interview I read with J Mann this song was simply ment as a song about anyone in any type of prision be it physically in prision or anyone who mentally is imprisioned. It doesn't neccesarily mean someone is physically locked in prision, but anyone who is tormented by demons (drugs, depression, manic behavior) and how if you let these things get the best of you, you will never rest. You must be forgiven-by penance, by yourself, even God-or you will lose your mind. | |
| Mushroomhead – Never Let It Go Lyrics | 21 years ago |

this song feels like there is some really deep pain that someone went through and the emotions of never letting it go (duh) and the anger that goes along with it. I dunno, I listened to this song constantly after my dad died, and I really connected with it. The idea that you always have this hurt inside and that no matter how hard you try something will end up wrong, that that's just life (Strive for perfection and strike with precision soon it blows up in your face and the smoke blurs your vision). The best line however is is what Jeffrey Nothing yells "the cut that always bleeds but never shows." That just sounds like a deep emotional hurt that you always carry with you but people wouldn't see just by looking at you. |

| Mushroomhead – Destroy The World Around Me Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| The beginning of this song-the part sung by J Mann-is soo awesome. It basically is saying how the government does whatever it feels like, including declaring war. and tells us all what to believe. The best line is 'might is right and thought is wrong, it's a long road nowhere enjoy the ride with blinders on' and it's saying how anyone who has a different opinion against the government and who doesn't believe everything that was spoon-fed to them is told how wrong they are. We've been told by the government that's we'll all be safe in our homes as long as we don't question what they do even thought they're destroying the world. | |
| Mushroomhead – 43 Lyrics | 21 years ago |

if you listen to then entire ending of the song it's actually quite funny God, dog . . . Agnostic, Insomniac, Dyslexic, I'm wide awake and I'm wondering if there is a dog . . that's the best line ever. However, if you guys are really looking to find meaning in these lyrics, (or any Mushroomhead song) you're thinking waaaay too hard. Many of the songs are pieced together from different things that Jeffrey Nothing and J Mann have written at different points in their lives, and simply are pieced together because they like the way that they flow. |
