| I picture big business owners caught with their pants down. | |

| Dave Grohl hits about as hard as Kurt Cobain screaming on this song.... what a release! Thank Krist Novoselic for keeping the song together with his sophisticated bass riffs. | |
| Queensrÿche – Silent Lucidity Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Agreed this song is one of the best. It was the first song/band that I heard an orchestra played behind a Rock band. I was touched, and with this song, I'm encouraged that life is a beautiful thing. | |
| Radiohead – Everything in Its Right Place Lyrics | 21 years ago |

Wow... So i've tried to read all of the comments on here. And everything seems to be in its right place. I just wanted point out that -Has anyone noticed the movie "The Matrix" the very first lines before the scene starts, Trinity asks Cipher "Is everything in its right place?" There's doubt that theres any connection between the two, but its odd how someone stated "its like your not sure if you dreaming or awake." |

| Kanye West – Family Business Lyrics | 21 years ago |

[Verse 1: Kanye West] This is family business And this is for the family that can't be with us That first sentence right there, says what this song is about. Everytime I hear that first verse, my eyes begin to water, and by the end of the song, I'm appreciative with the family that I have. I Love this song for having me realize that the family I have is the only family I got. Save your $$ and contribute to your family, I think sums up the hole cd. Thats what I got out of this album. |

| Kanye West – Breathe In, Breathe Out Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| This songs meaning goes almost right along with "All Falls Down". Seems Kanye has a spending problem, and likes to show it off..... I can relate. | |
| Kanye West – Spaceship Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
I've been workin' this graveshift and I ain't made shit I wish I could buy me a spaceship and fly past the sky A wise composer once wrote: Words make you think a thought, Music makes you feel a feeling, and A Song makes you feel a thought. Kanye as a producer/composer himself has accomplished this precisely in this chorus. Using the clips from the Consequence he's got this beat full of feelings. As a man struggling in today's world, I feel his struggle and I to wish I could buy me a spaceship and fly. I Respect Him for Represent'n Chicago in A Real Way. |

| I Like This Song. There's so much truth in these lyrics as stated how their stated. At a first listen, I think their talking about those preachers on t.v.? I'm not sure yet. Just got the cd, and it hasn't left my cd player. | |
| Broken Social Scene – Stars and Sons Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| This song makes me want to clap.... I Like it! I'm not sure what the meaning of it is, yet. Something about seeing the red; Very metaphoric, and a feeling unknown. | |
| Death Cab for Cutie – Passenger Seat Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I was once feeling the feeling that is felt in this song. Its heart warming that someone else felt the same as I felt; During that dark ride home out in the country where all stars and satellites are seen, coming home after a bar fight. | |
| Death Cab for Cutie – Expo '86 Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
"the squeeking of our skin against the steel" is metaphoric to "them" goin up and down a slide... They climb to the top only to slip and slide back down to the bottom. I never really got this song at all. I just heared the greatness of the beats, bass, and fumbling guitar. It was when I was actually going through these feelings that I finally found out what this song was about, and began to relate. The song is of a relationship, of course, where the woman has just gotten out of a serious relationship (maybe she was dumped, or maybe something unforseen happened?) She is torn between two hearts, and has found a void to fill. They met one night, fell in love that week only for her to still have those feelings for the other. She's obviously honest, as they turn from lovers to friends, and he's worried of losing his place in line. I think Ben Gibbard puts a personal note as he states "and it's strange they are basically the same so i don't ask names anymore" as he's on the road all the time and doesn't know whats really goin on. |

| The Postal Service – Clark Gable Lyrics | 21 years ago |

i know you're wise beyond your years, but do you ever get the fear that your perfect verse is just a lie you tell yourself to help you get by? I also think that maybe, just maybe its the girl he called is saying this to him, rather him saying this to himself. Jenny Lewis starts backing up the vocals word for word, and the verse switches to 3rd person. Is that feasible? |
