Bob Dylan – Just Like a Woman Lyrics

This song is about Dylan falling head over heels for a girl i.e. don't let on the you knew me when i was hungry (for love) and the world was her, so don't tell anyone how i tried hard to get you and failed. "Just like a woman" is the quintesential line by dylan describing the various women of his life and how awesome he finds women to be. |

Bob Dylan – Boots of Spanish Leather Lyrics

Oh man, I can't begin to describe this song. The best dylanesque singing on the album ever. If someone knows the significance of Spanish boots of Spanish leather, I'd love to know. What really makes me mad about this site is that more kids go and look at NOFX lyrics than Dylan, the great lyricist. I mean there are countless other "artists" visited more than Dylan, but everyone save a few, and not saves the day, are a disgrace. Dylans lyrics are beyond human comprehension. I would call dylan the master of the english language. You could debate him against shakespeare and others, but there is no doubt dylan is the best poet of the last 100 years. |

Bob Dylan – Girl from the North Country Lyrics

goodmorning is correct on scarborough, so i'm pretty sure that its based lyricallys on that. The original song is pretty good with some nice chord work for folk, and dylan was a folkie, so this is definitly based on. |

I love the contrast between g force and yamamura. Also, need i not point out that regardless of mary jane , 42 is the answer and dylan is without a doubt someone attuned to a higher state of being. |

Bob Dylan – Sara Lyrics

This song, sung live, is perhaps dylans finest work. You can hear the blood coming out his fucking ears. Check out the version of this on live '75, not very clean musically, but dylans voice is always better live. |

Bob Dylan – Tangled Up in Blue Lyrics

yeah king, thats right, its definitly about sara, who was a playboy model, and thus probably a topless dancer. What a great song it, uh, it pours of every page like it was written in my soul from me to you. I've definitly felt that way several times in my life. Dylan awesome as always. |
