Sigur Rós – Glósóli Lyrics | 18 years ago |
omg, that song was almost killing me when i was at the concert. the very last song, with the hall completely dark, only flashes of light again and again, and then this end and jonsi's voice. god, this was one of the times when i forgot what i was doing. i simply fell into trance. awesome song. |
The Rasmus – No Fear Lyrics | 18 years ago |
don't worry, we won't attack you, we are all nice guys ;) |
Kent – Mannen i den vita hatten (16 år senare) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Best song, best song ever written, I think. "Jag är livrädd för att leva och jag är dödsrädd för att dö"... absolutely perfect. I love it. |
The Rasmus – Rakkauslaulu Lyrics | 18 years ago |
hey man, I'm trying!!! |
The Rasmus – No Fear Lyrics | 18 years ago |
i think this is one of the worst songs so far. sorry, but rasmus have gone into a decline to commerce, imho. they have been at their best at the time of the glorious album into and while publishing the as-great dead letters, but in the course of the latter one they began to realize how much money was there to be made with aping all the other finnish bands that were mushrooming all over at that time, and still are, like him and negative (who came later, i know). i wonder if in finland they think this is the only way for them to become successful here, but nevertheless they act like it. rasmus are definetely no gothic band nor anything like that except a great rock band, but their songs pretend to be something else. to me it's a shame they waste their talent on such a show. i can't take lauri ylönen serious anymore with songs like this incredible "life burns", nor the whole band with songs like this. this is "you change your passion for glory" to me. and i'm disappointed to see what becomes of one of my favourite bands. |
Kent – Kärleken Väntar Lyrics | 18 years ago |
oh, my favourite phrase of all, "hoppet i ett IQ-fritt land" :) |
Die Ärzte – Hurra Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Es hat echt noch keiner was hierzu geschrieben? *lol* Die Hymne meiner Jahrgangsstufe zum ABI 2005! Das rockt! |

Juli – Geile Zeit Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Meine persönliche Hymne zum ABI 2005! Aus! Aus! Das Spiel ist aus!! |
Kent – FF Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I think it does not say "Le Monde est-c'est nous", but "Le monde, c'est nous" which would mean "The world are we", like the quote "L'etat c'est moi" (the state am I) |
The Rasmus – Still Standing Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I actually read it is exactly like that. This song is about a friend of Lauri (the singer) who has died of drugs... I read that in a comment of this song by himself. |
The Rasmus – Rakkauslaulu Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Yes, it doen't really sound like him, that made me think is was Pauli. Actually I always understood "Hei Pauli ystäväin...", too... okay, probably I got it wrong :) |
Kent – Sverige Lyrics | 19 years ago |
That's the translation I found: - So I basically just start then, right - Yep - Three, four Sweden, Sweden, beloved friend A tiger who is ashamed I know how it feels When the seriousness has turned into a joke When the silence is frightening What is it that has happened Welcome, welcome here Whoever you are, wherever you are Set your veranda for a party For a distant guest In the land "just right" is best We toast for another midsummer Fresh potatoes and herring As if time has stood still Welcome, welcome here Whoever you are, wherever you are The rain hits the windows now but the night is bright, in a country without sound And the glasses glimmer silently on our table As empty as words Surely love is great Welcome, welcome here Whoever you are, wherever you are Hope it helps :). |
Kent – Sundance Kid Lyrics | 19 years ago |
What a song :). I would say it is about lost friends and dreams... if I understood the translations right! |
Kent – Kevlar Soul Lyrics | 20 years ago |
What does "Kevlar" mean, by the way? |
Reamonn – Fuck It (Dont Want You Back) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
Oh, come on everybody, THIS IS NOT A REAMONN SONG!!! Just for information, THAT singer is called Eamon and has got nothing to do with the Band at all! |
Fury in the Slaughterhouse – Won't Forget These Days Lyrics | 20 years ago |
This is my personal hymn to so many wonderful days I had that were the best of my life so far and that I don't want to forget all my life. One year ago I went to Berlin for a weekend with some guys from school - there was a big festival - , we slept in a classroom of a primary school, spent all our days downtown and hardly slept at all. That was when I first saw Fury live at a free concert in front of Brandenburg Gate, and it was absolutely wonderful. Since then I've been a fan, and whenever I hear this song I have to think about it. |
Reamonn – Weep Lyrics | 20 years ago |
This song MAKES me cry, actually. The music is so strong that I'm going crazy whenever I hear it. This is one of their best songs, I think. |
The Rasmus – Bullet Lyrics | 20 years ago |
Great song. Makes me crazy because of the power in the singer's voice. |
Apulanta – Ei YhtääN Todistajaa Lyrics | 20 years ago |
Actually the only song I know of them! But I really like it. What do the lyrics mean, by the way? I think I understood the message, but not really everything... |
Kent – Kungen Är Död Lyrics | 20 years ago |
Actually the song with which I got to know them because I was staying with a friend in Finland who had Hagnesta Hill, so I listened to it 'cause I was curious about it. Back at home I bought first the English version and later the Swedish one, too. It was hard to get it in Swedish, anyway. by the way, I think the translations aren't very exact, are they? |
Lee Ann Womack – I Hope You Dance Lyrics | 20 years ago |
When I got 18 some months ago my big sister gave this song to me and I just couldn't help crying for I suddenly had this feeling of so many possibilities lying before me and her taking care of me. Still I always have to swallow very hard whenever I only read the lyrics. There is so much love in this song, too. I think it always gives you some power and courage before you're starting something new. "I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance, Never settle for the path of least resistance, Livin' might mean takin' chances but they're worth takin', Lovin' might be a mistake but it's worth makin' " - I think this is a real advice for life. |
The Rasmus – Rakkauslaulu Lyrics | 20 years ago |
isn't it pauli who is singing this? |

Bon Jovi – Thank You For Loving Me Lyrics | 20 years ago |
I gave this song to my mother on a self-made CD on Mother's day and she almost started crying. I always think of my family when I hear this song for it really expresses the way I feel for all those people who always are there for me... |
