I'd rather my once favorite band not sound like shit because of the singer, the music is talented as always, but it all got so cheesey. There is nothing metal about them anymore. By the way, the singer from SUM 41 of all bands had the same throat injurie and decided to not comprimise thier music, so if his voice cuts out, then he'll be done. |

What happened to Avenged... Remember when they used tro be good? Those were the days. Way to be a heavier good charlotte. The music is still good talented but aimed all wrong and shadows should probably die so they have no choice but to get a singer who doesn't give up on being a good singer because of a problem with his throat. The worst part is watching them in an interview or something because Shadows is clearly the only one who likes what they are doing now... real sad |

What I meant by a love song "slipknot style" was that the way Corey writes lyrics he never comes right out and says what the songs truely about. I don't doubt that the way it was written was a stalker's love song, but I think the meaning behind the lyrics is as I said earlier.. |

This song is obviously a love song, only Slipknot style. So it dances around the fact that it's a love song and goes into more of an obsession angle. Upon a deeper look, the word Vermillion means a vivid red to reddish orange. Corey Taylor's wife or girlfriend's (not sure) name is Scarlet, which is a shade of vivid red, so clearly this song is written about her. |

First I'd like to say that following Iowa, I lost a lot of respect for Slipknot. I would not consider myself a "maggot", however their self tittled album is in my opinion one of the best albums ever written. I figured I'd go back to my roots and scoop up Vol. 3 The Subliminal Verses, and HOLY SHIT. I am impressed. Slipknot is no longer the one dimensional band I though they were. Songs like this one break the mold of Slipknot. |
