did anyone else notice the small connection with this song & the movie Dogma? theres a few lines that are like.. quotes like "And I've seen what happens to the wicked and proud when the decide to try to take on the thrown for the crown" Unless thats some famous line that i dont know about. and "as we learn as we age We've learned nothing and my body still aches And you take 'cause they give" kind of has to do with one of the sort of themes of the movie.. like with God, as human race gets older & stuff, we havent learned anything and we take cause he gives but yeah. thats how i saw it, w0rd. |

Why does it matter that the Postal Service is getting radio time? I love that i hear them on the radio. Such great Heights is on all the time and they even play it at my school and i couldnt be happier, more people can listen to them and enjoy them. I never understood why people didnt like other people enjoying good music.. anyways.. YEAH! I've heard Angel Pumping Gas, It's not on their Cd (I downloaded it too) this song is great |

i interpreted different than all of you i though the whole bomb shelter thing was a metaphor I kind of pictured it as like maybe he and someone else he loved dearly got in a fight and he missed them and he didnt want to fight, so he stayed inside his "bomb shelter" to only think about them. And he just misses her so he pretends she is with him (the part about pretending the echoes beloning to someone he used to know) And he wanted to go talk to her again and have a constant relationship but everyone is telling him no and that the conditions outside of his "bomb shelter" are bad and everything bottled up might explode beucase they just couldnt take it and that wouldnt pretty. oh well, thats what i thought of this great song. |

This is definitly my favorite song on Page Avenue. This song had a few meanings to me i think he is having a problem and he is just letting everything happen and he's in too deep and might never solve it because "he's letting himself sink down". the whole song is a metaphor. yup yup. |
