ZZ Top – TV Dinners Lyrics 24 days ago
I was under the impression that this song is kind of a tongue-in-cheek blues song. A single man can't eat a normal dinner because he has no girl, so he has to rely on TV dinners until then.

Oomph! – Gott Ist Ein Popstar Lyrics 15 years ago
I'm a Christian myself, albeit an old fashioned one, and I'd have to agree with most of the people here. I think that it's about Christian denominations commercializing the Lord. I think that a lot of Christian churches make out God to be a popstar, rather than a Father and a Creator.

The lyrics actually remind me of Dexter's Dark Passenger in some ways. . .

David Bowie – It's No Game (Part 1) Lyrics 19 years ago
I am going to take a wild guess, the song is probably about the events that are going on in the world (in that period of time), and the fact that those events are not a game.

But, "It's no Game" (pt. 1 & 2) was originally written in 1970, and it was labled as "Tired of my Life". Though, tired of my life has different lyrics (exept some words during the bridge). Pretty much, "Tired of my life" is about how depressed he is.

So in the events that are going on, maybe David is just trying to say that "this is not a game, and I'm tired of them too".

I'm not really sure what I'm talking about lol. But, maybe we'll get a discussion going on now.

Oh, and one last thing. In the last verse, it's not "There's always tomorrow", it's "So where's the moral".

David Bowie – Everyone Says 'Hi' Lyrics 20 years ago
The song is actually about someone close to you who died. There is a quote that David Bowie said himself about the song.

""Everyone Says "Hi" everyone seems jolly in tone, but is about the passing away of somebody. It was a general song about losing someone in one's life and wasn't written about anyone specifically. I had the sense of when my father died, and it seemed he had only gone away for a while and it was some time for me to reconcile that he wasn't coming back."
