When I first bought Lateralus, and wanted to listen to it all the way through, it was 2am and I couldn't sleep... I was transfixed all through the album and during Lateralus I became lost in the music, no album has ever made me feel like this before so I regard this album to be very special to me. Anyway... This last track came on and I was close to falling asleep... The voice just sounded so panicky and awful and I got chills down my spine, I wanted to turn it off but I kept listening, wondering what I was going to hear next... I had never felt so scared and alone in all my life and just the abrupt cut at the end of the song just made me even more scared. If it had been daytime I probly wouldn't have felt as scared... But even now, when I listen to that song, I still get chills down my spine... and I fucking love it... |
