Maybe the best hardcore punk song ever recorded. Even if Ian never preached violence, it's one of the most violent-sounding songs ever. The guitar alone sounds like it wants to kill you. |

Well, many songs have heavy verses and slow, melodic choruses. But in addition to the form, I think that melodically, it's really close to SOAD's song. Too close, in my opinion. If Sum 41 ever really recorded anything that sounded unique from other bands, I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, but they haven't. |

No deep meaning here, just a great ironic song about shit that happens. This may be one of my favorite songs of all-time, and it's certainly the best one the Dead Boys ever did. It almost sounds like a Stooges song that the Stooges never actually recorded. |

I haven't given much thought to the meaning of this song, but it's one of my favorite Clash songs, and I'm not even that much a fan of this band. The melody is just great. |
