I think the reference to "seamstress for the band" means that the girl/women he is love with takes pride in being behimd things and not getting recognition for it. It means she doesnt need the recognition and he loves her for that, becuase nobody ever acknowledges the seamstress for the band. I am convinced this song was written about me... |
