This song isn’t about the shark in Jaws, but rather the mayor. The mayor in Jaws was the real villain. There is a monster under that smile. |

Ok, it's pretty obvious what this song is about but did anyone here see Drag Me To Hell? This song would have been perfect for that movie. |

He was actually supposedly killed in New Orelans in a previous life and used to get sick every time he went there until the psychic helped him. "My fears come alive in this place where I onced died." Wow...who knew that was supposed to be taken literally... |

| Earshot – Get Away Lyrics

I think that one word that could define Earshot is "fresh." They are a great band that I have actually seen twice in concert with other bands and I love their music. This song is great and they played it both times that I saw them. Their lyrical content is great on both albums.
TRIVIA: Earshot got their song "Headstrong" put on the mother of all soundtracks "Queen of the Damned" before their first album was ever released! |

This is possibly their best song. Amy Lee is beautiful and she has a beautiful voice.
But why is the song titled "October?" |

Trivia: In the music video, as played on Fuse (I'm not sure about other outlets), the words "shit" and "die," as in "Someone is gonna die when you listen to me," are censored. |

Trivia: The word "bound" is never said during the song.
This song is awesome because it is a bitch slap to bitches. |

| Trapt – These Walls Lyrics

The real corrections that sweetness was attempting to make: "I can't escape walking DOWN these halls
Hard to find a place where there are no walls."
Possibly Trapt's best song (as of right now anyway). One question: Why is the song called "These Walls"? Why isn't it called "These Halls"? There is a reference to "these walls" in "Made of Glass" |

| Disturbed – Meaning of Life Lyrics

WOW Not even close, gitarkid. "Come a little closer now, pretentious whore. I'm reelin' with a feelin' that I can't ignore."--this part was left out of the lyrics up top, but that is ALL that is wrong with them.
Also the line written as "Is how I've been feelin' that I can't ignore" Is supposed to be "Is how I've been feelin' lately." Somehow something got mixed up. |

| Disturbed – A Welcome Burden Lyrics

Probably the best non-album song by Disturbed. As far as I know, it is on no soundtrack. They recorded it live in the studio, but didn't put it on "The Sickness" There is footage of them in the studio playing it on the M.O.L DVD. |

| Mudvayne – Mercy, Severity Lyrics

OK, I don't know how long this site has been up but I can NOT believe that nobody has at least tried to analyze this song. I personally have some extended knowledge on the subject that it deals with, so let me enlighten you:
This song is about creation, though I'm not exactly sure what kind. It's definately not about the creation of something good, that I'm pretty sure. The word "firmament" appears in several early American creation stories. It's also talking talking about creation of souls and discusses the "casts" or how souls molded.
Who is the "Yin" guy? That I do not know. Maybe made up by the band, as they do kind of have their own little cult-like aspects.
In case you're wondering, "Mercy, Severity" is probably my favorite Mudvayne song. Mudvayne is my third favorite band. |

"Do you reflect me or do I reflect you?" This part of this particular song gets me every time. It's something to really really think about. |
