The lyrics are exceptionally emotional and the acoustic in the background makes this song go over the top. It can really hit you when you're at home alone with a friend lying in a hospital bed, dying from cancer.
I remember where I was the day I heard the guys got into that accident. Its something I will never forget.

The song is very emotional, and can strike a cord in you if you're listening to it at the wrong time.
I don't know the story behind the song, but I do know that Buddy and the guys get very emotional when performing it live. |

OMG Joel poured all his emotion into this song! I bet this is the song he was talking about when he said in an interview, down here in Canada, when he said that during the recording process, there were some songs that he had to record alone because he got a little TOO emotion (crying and such) |
