So, a song about a suicide pact between two lovers, inspired by the "lovecats" in a novel, written in such a way that was hoped to shed their "goth" image? When I listen to this song I always imagine sly, sleek cats strutting around at night causing trouble. |

Let's look at the evidence:
On one hand, we know that Robert has actually said it's about him wearing a dress on a train... on the other hand, everyone knows he likes to lie. If it's the latter, part of thinks there's a theme of post-breakup jealousy in the song. But spokexx could be right, as well. I think there are lots of ways to interpret this song. |

I have to agree with ezboy. The first thing that came to mind upon hearing this song was a sexual encounter. I think the reference to the collision is just symbolic. And in my opinion, it's done quite beautifully. |
