| As far as I know silent hitman, Unas was a Pharaoh, at least as far as the legend goes. Most of the egyption gods were said to be pharaohs or parts of the royal family before they became gods. For example, Osiris was a pharaoh, Isis was his wife, and Horus was their son. I could be wrong but Im pretty sure thats what it was. | |

I think this song is, like masterofpuppets said, an intelectual love song. I think neil is trying to say that even though you are in a relationship and you love eachother, you are two diffrent people who need to grow and exsist as seperate entitites. Rush seems to be big on this idea because if you look at 'speed of love' there is a line that says "reaching twards a higher plain where two halves make two wholes". Just my thoughts. poisondahlia |

| not to be nit-picky but i think its "my dahlia bathed in possession" but I could be wrong... thats just what it sounds like. This song... I dont know whether is a stalking song, or as i innitally saw it, him sort of making up his perfect woman basing it on someone he knows. When you listen to this and than vermilion pt. 2 it really makes sence as either because he realizes that she is exactly what he wants to be real but cant be but he knows he has to hold onto that for sanity. | |
