The interpretation I always had for this song is that is a prequel to the Samson and Delilah story between Samson and who is singing the song who is not Delilah. I get that impression from the lines " I loved you first" because she came first before Delilah. and "history books forgot about us and the bible never mentioned us." because in the Bible is anyone else mentioned to have been with Samson except Delilah. |

She recorded this song under "The Jane Brooks Project" It was on her website in 2003 or 2004 to download for free. I love this one and "Dont Blame Me" (which is also recorded "The Jane Brooks Project". It is very pretty and I like the classic feel to it. It reminds me of one an lounge singer singing it while sitting on a piano. |

The lyrics are wrong by the way its suppose to be "I'm still an asshole playing with candles" not matches.
To me the song is about someone looking back at there life and regretting.I dont think that anyone is blind or that it literally means braille.Braille is the lifes scars that are upon her skin or something like that. |

i think that this song i definaly a very sexual song but i think that basically its about being there for your women friends because they are going to be there before and after your boyfriends and be there for you in a differnt place than men but not in a sexual sense exactly but it can be interpreted that way |
