the chorus is so pretty..and it reminds me of neutral milk hotel. atleast the "let your legs lull on the lino till your sinews spoil". beautiful song but i cant think of what to say on its meaning. |

i actually got the chance to talk to john about this. its about being dumped. "the truth is i have no faith in happiness, it turns to fear draws the devils near" happiness turns to sadness..the couple parts about old devils finding him, those are about how just when you think you are safe and feeling alright, depression will rear its ugly head again. i feel this song so much..sadly |

i agree the bassline is very addictive. this is the song that turned me on to broken social scene. its great. i especially like the vocals on this song.
i don't think people are supposed to figure out this song, it's very vague. |

the first two lines make me think he is talking about horoscopes. how some people base their actions on those, so when something goes wrong they can blame them. i dont think the whole song is about that, but it could be one part... |
