Seriously, why is there such controversy about this song? | He didn't actually "steal" Pattie from George, as many assume. George and Pattie's relationship was on the rocks to begin with, and Pattie eventually gave into Eric's moves. I don't think George treated her like "crap" - at least not throughout the whole relationship, and I don't think Eric was "bad" for acting out of love. | |

HonkyFire - What makes you so arrogant to assume you know which songs are about drugs and which are not? FACT IS - whether you want to believe it or not - Paul has said that this song was actually just about fixing a hole in his roof. I believe it was the roof of his Scottish farmhouse. If you chose to look at it other way, the lyrics offer you insight into other situations...but that isn't what Paul meant. |
