Most of your guys' perceptions of this song seem to be correct but I have found something else that connects it. Now I'm not exactly the biggest Greenday fan but I just watched Groundhog Day, now if you haven't seen it go check it out for yourself and you'll know what I'm talking about. As you have all mentioned this song is about not giving a fuck and living your life to the fullest, while in the movie Bull Murray does exactly that, living without warning, because he knows he can fix his mistakes whenever from living the same day over and over again. Another thing came to my attention in the music video the guy wake up at 6:30 am while as to in the movie Bill wakes up at 6:00 am, now I'm thinking that the guy in the music video might just living his day again and again getting up at 6:30 everyday. The guys from Greenday might have been tying this song to that movie or maybe it's just all one big coincidence? You decide................................. |
