To me this song is a lot about dreams and hallucinations!! I mean it is like a world where you see what you want to see!!! I love the band and the album (hence my name) and cannot wait for the next album to be realeased!! |

I agree wiv these coments totally....i am not really into leaving through the window and I think they grew up a lot when they did North! I suppose it is because they will have experienced more in their lives! I really love this song and cannot believe that so few people have commented!!! It is a really good album that I love to listen to when I ma in a depressed mood and Only Ashes is a great song with lots of hidden meanings! A real winner! |

well i do not want to get caught up in a political debate about why this song was written but i think that the people who are argueing about this are slightly missing the point of the song!!! This song is about Kurt Cobain and a heart felt apoligy!! It sort oof takes me on a guilt trip and I especially love the lines What else could I write
I don't have the right because this is how I feel in life!!! To sum everything up for whateva reason this song was written it is pumped full of emotion and any song that can make you stop and think is sheer brilliant!!! |

To mean this song basically means that if you had your life in a day you had better make the most of it. You do not need to associate wit fakes - you have to stick with the people that mean a lot and care for you and then you know that you are living your life to it's full potential!!!
