I get the feeling, when listening to this song, that Jim is talking about Barack Obama. Normally I would suggest that it is a negative commentary on Bush, but considering how peaceful the singing and music is, I would say it is about optimisim.
The repeating of the word glory seems to suit Obama correctly. |

This appears to be about Chris cheating or wanting to cheat on his wife. I love the tag at the end, "Chinese Sleep Chant", it really explores there psychedelic abilities. |

This is easily the most pulchritudinous Coldplay song I have ever heard. I needed to find a better word than beautiful just because that is just how heavy this song is emotionally. I really like the somber piano and sincerity in Chris Martin's voice. My only question is why the hell did they leave this off the record? It could have easily replaced the cheesy "Swallowed By the Sea." |

I don't think that it can be proven that Jonsi is gay. I've not read anything about it so don't get so hyped up about until you know it's true. It shouldn't matter anyway. I mean he is blind in one eye, does that matter? No. What matters is that the music is so peaceful and paints pictures. This song is a great representation of how wonderful this band is. I am truly astonished and intrigued by their work. |

I think this song is about The DMB getting their shit together musically. They have been really dormant with their last two records, and I think they realize this. This song could be about saying "Hello" to the fans, saying hey we are back, old school style. I really can't wait to hear how this one sounds on their new record, it's tops. |

I think the lyrics to this song are extremely weak. The chorus is very catchy, but you can't really sing along with the verses. The music, however, is setter and sounds a lot more like the Dave Matthews Band. They seem to have lost their sound with the last two records, which were both poor. I was really diggin' the jam part at the end but it seemed to end too suddenly, I was wondering if anyone knows if the radio cut a jam out like they did with "Crush" or if the song is just short and ends like that, thanks. |
