yup..definately about heroin. "I got high on scrapping from my nails" Heroin addicts, when they hit rock bottom, cook up their own finger/toenail scrappings because the body concentrates it there "he came in, he didnt speak my language" referrring to his dealer "and promised next time, he opened up his mouth and then they floated out, dirty blue balloons" referring to the transfer of drugs such as heroin. Dealers would keep balloons full of them in their mouths, that way if a cop came after them they could swallow it, and just shit it out...hence the 'dirty' blue balloons. "nothing helps and no one else can make it feel okay float me through the day" meaning nothing can make him feel better but his drugs |

| the song on "13th step" is very good, but the original on "fantastic planet" by failure, is better. if you didn't already go by that album, its amazing. Also, Ken Andrews, from failure, also followed an addiction related theme, so it makes sense that this song would be about that. | |
