It always reminds me of someone being ill. I think it is actually "you're skin, oh yeh you're skin and bones" and then moving on to "turn into something beautiful" as a command rather than a statement It seems like the subject is ill and fading away, but they have inner beauty. To be fair, it's a Coldplay song. It only means something in our minds. Chris writes lyrics to sound good, not to make sense. He said himself that Yellow doesn't mean anything but that is what I take it as. |
