This song is great. He said it was a religious song when I saw them in concert, but big DUH there I guess. "Blistered my hands on your beliefs" sounds alot like a stigmata (I believe that's it..) to me.. lol, but all I can say for "sure" is it has a religious meaning. |

Just feel like saying that I've seen them live, I was up front and they are awesome. Their live performance of this song is what really made me notice it... I love Linkin Park's music so much. This song reminds me of a previous relationship, I would ask myself "am I changing for him?" (Remembering I’m pretending to be where I’m not anymore) or "do I really have feelings for him, or am I kidding myself? why don't I just end it?" (A little taste of hypocrisy And I’m left in the wake of the mistake slow to react) and because it was a distant relationship even though he wasn't with me... This song was and still is one of my favorite Linkin Park songs (hint is my username) Dark Lotus- what the hell is a juggalo?!? And if you don't like a band, why waste your energy to announce it? Anywayz, I think the song is basically about a person who wants to run away from everything, from all the pressures, people, and obstacles that are gonna put him down. When he speaks of "broken trust" and "guilty by association" maybe he had been betrayed by someone... basically summing it up in a sentence, this song is about somone who wants to escape it all. |

Great song, my fave off of TALITM so far... This song seems pretty much obvious to what it's about, yet it can have different meanings to different people... in a way I think that yeah, it could very well be about the fan issues they have been seeming to have, with all the 'KoRn sucks now' bs.. but I find it to be about a relationship with someone who is basically dependent and never seems to be satisfied with you, yet you always try to be there for them when they need you but then you realize that nothing you can do will ever please them. |
