I went out with a girl a few times, she seemed really clingy so I was trying to get out of this new found relationship. I didn't see her for a few days then I ran into her at a club. There was only about 5 of us on the dancefloor when this song came on and she was one of them.
I remember just kind of dancing around and smiling to myself because the lyrics really captured exactly what I was thinking. She was a bit whacked. I wish her all the best though. |

I was going to post this for one of The Smiths other songs but was thinking that while a lot of the lyrics are very deep and meaningful, doesn't anyone think some of them are in there becuase they rhyme and sound really good together?
I'm not taking anything away from Moz because he is my favourite lyricist but really, not every single sentence and line has to have some deeper meaning to it. That's the great thing about songs, they don't have to tell a story in a linear way, they can be anything you want them to be. All my favourite songs have lines in them that don't make much sense but they work perfectly and that's what makes them great. |

I think that this song hits living in Winnipeg right on the head. Most Winnipeggers have a love/hate feeling about their city. So much to rundown about it but people stay and if they move away, they move back. Fave line is, 'darker gray is breaking through a lighter one' |

I heard that this song was about LL Cool J which would be the reason for the lyrics about 'panthers' and 'radio' (taken from the names of his songs). Kim was going to have LL sing but later decided to have Chuck D on instead. |
