Can't you see what it would be like to have something unborn in ur tummy? How painful it would be to just look at ur stomach and think that there's something inside it, something that could be just like you, a human, a person, with feelings? Pregnancy's big business, particularly when it's something you don't want and you need to have an abortion. It's something really painful. Don't even say its anything like getting wisdom teeth removed. It costs alot, it's another person - unborn or not. The existance of one more person can change everything. Your best friend could have been a baby that was almsot unborn. I was an accident, i mightnt of been here if my parents got an abortion. It's such a beautiful song, i love it. I'm not gonna go further into what it means though, thats discussed well and proper i think.. |

I love this song, but i need to be in the mood for it i guess. The bit before it really got to me, i first listened to it when i was away from home and all my close friends and boyfriend. I interpret the first bit (this is the first thing i remember, now it's the last thing left on my mind) as being something that seeps into your life and just becomes everything, and tears you apart and hold you together. That can drive you crazy, and i know what it's like to have something that consuming in your life. It's hard for you to describe things like that to other people when ur in the position.. You just feel so drained and powerless, yet so mad. Meaningful song. |

I love this song. To me it's about keeping the simplicity to life.. I used to always count a certain coloured car when i was little, so it's like keeping the childhood memories, and simplicity of being so innocent. Life doesn't always have to be so complicated. The way they talk about clothes being stained reminds me of how you don't care when ur a kid. I know it's cos u don't understand, but they see the world so differently. |

This band does suck a fair bit from time to time. Their albums get really different to their released songs which annoys me. But lay off the song, i love it. I reckon everyone makes sense - 'cos it's saying the suposed person always had people to turn to and to tell her when she needed to run away from the situation. People told her when she'd had enough of it. I guess it's the way i veiw it because i see myself as the girl who's causing so much crap with a certain person, and i always have somebody getting involved with what they think of what's happening in the relationship and the other person hasn't had a person doing that because they never brought other people into the relationship. Or thats the way it got screamed at me, anyway. |

i reckon it's a guy who thinks he deserves better than he's got, in a way. I know that sounds selfish, and it probably wouldnt be something he would directly say. But he really, really has a yearning to have a more supportive life. I don't think its POVERTY, just not finding the certain things they want in life. It's good for me in two ways - one way, whenever i'm a little down about life in general i can relate to it & it makes me feel better. And the second, it makes me think about what i really want in life. Just a little piece of this dream would be fine for me. |
