no right? "chicago" is an amazing song; so unique. i was SO suprised to hear this line. it made me HAPPY to hear this line. i LOVE snow patrol. And i LOVE sufjan stevens. A connection between the two just makes me sit back and go "wow."
it's kind of like U2 and Coldplay. two of my favorite bands... and to think- Chris Martin was HEAVILY influenced by Bono growing up. Bands rub off on one another, and their similar music rubs off on the fans. It's just cool when fans realize the connection between two bands they like a lot. |

PENPUNK stole the words right out of my own mind. i have nothing else to add to those thoughts but this: Nostalgia is the word that best describes this song. he enjoys looking back, but it's BITTERSWEET because it was great but it IS gone. But maybe this song is Chad's personal way of letting go of those times. I think that may be just the case considering they shot the video at the old high school.
Nostalgia feels good but it can be really bad if you let it control your emotions like some people i know.... |

RVD is one of the greatest talents in all sports (or entertainment, whatever) and this song fits him perfectly. Even if the lyrics dont mean what we hear or whatever... yeah, just the sound spells out only one thing: R..V..D |

man who cares? Damn. I like this song, i like it a lot. And to be honest, this is the only song by modest mouse i've heard. OH NO! Look at me, i'm a newbie, i must be satan. Screw off. Who gives a shit who listens to the music. I eventually plan on listening to more of MM and possibly buying the album. Too bad i'm a mainstream faggot who only knows one song by Modest Mouse. Eat shit and die, you're all fools. |

this seems to be a man just going out and finding himself with nothing but the thought of his lost love or, as Spider1 said, God. The later would make more sense. Johnny Cash is amazing and he really makes this song, and i dare to say, better that Bono could have. can't believe i just said that. ;) |

all these ideas about what this song is about are great. but i like the last few lines where it seems like he just snaps out of a day dream and asks himself while he's sitting at the bar: "how long must it take to get a drink in this place?" |

I'd love to take the time and describe what this song means to me... but i'd probably pass out from racking my brain so hard. the sound of this song from the first note is just hypnotic and you really dont come out of it till it's over. P.S. is definitely by far the most underrated band out there today. |

i love it when people call wrestling fake... lol. it's judging the sport for something it's not even intended to be. it's entertainment, any sports entertainer (wrestler) will tell you that. as an independent wrestler myself, i say go ahead, poke fun. you're just never going to get it. (laughs to himself.) but yeah, this song definitely personafies Benoit to a 't.' love it. |

this song is amazing. the piano is so good it makes me want to cry... in fact, it has. first time i heard this song i was sitting in my car in my driveway and the spotlights were on outside my house. the snow was falling in the dark and when it passed through the light it was beautiful and played right along with the piano. the meaning does have a lot to do with the passing of time and the choices of life. it's definitely one of my favorite songs of all time:) |

| The Ataris – The Boys of Summer (Don Henley cover) Lyrics

|
that's exactly why they changed it to BlackFlag. Why is everyone bitching about this song?? The first time i heard it i didn't even realize it was a cover, lol. I KNOW who don henley is. I KNOW who the ataris are. To say that this song isn't COMPARABLE or isn't even UP TO PAR with henley's version is and asinine comment. The two are virtually the same. Henley is legendary, the ataris are revolutionary. Anyone who disagrees, bite me. This song is the best cover song of all time. Thank you. |
