hey does anyone here read? get the box set and in there it tells that layne wrote this song about goverment cencorship. he got the idea from veal, because veal are kept in a box so they don't grow any muscles. "but in reality he's just faking"- crackermcnacca. what are you talking about. aic fake???? how could you say something like that. it's not about him trying to be cool. it's about him wanting to be left alone.he was dead in his apartment for how long before he was found? that right there proves that this song wasn't him trying to be cool. it was him asking to be left alone |

i think this song has something to do with his fear of death, and some kind of idea that what comes around goes around (e.i. "see the cycle i've waited for", "buzzards cry, when flesh if rippin") i could be wrong, but thats what i got from the song |

theres absolutely no way it's about an electric chair. aic didn't sing about lame things like that. i think it goes alot deeper than that. if you listen to the song you can tell that it's coming from some sort of personal experience. and these lyrics could be said to mean many different things. just because you think they could be about the death penalty doesn't mean thats what the song is about. aic songs were about their lives and what they lived through. and obviously they didn't live through the electric chair |
