Dont call me a "retarded fag" and yell at me for not getting this right. i do think this song is a metaphor for something. Even if he did live under a bridge when he was sixteen. I think that metaphor is when hes in the depressed state ppl get after getting high of a drug. He relates this to living and sleeping under a bridge. This song is ok, but overrated, as many people commented on this page. Two things. Its goddam sad that kurt died, but we remember nirvana's music. And dave grohl and krist novoselic should not go unapreciated. its also sad that this song became so overplayed and it was known as nirvana's so called anthem. Kurt never wanted any of that.
