beautiful song. dont think it is necesarily about taking a girls virginity... i always interpreted the breaking as in breaking her emotionally..like the expression, breaking the horse. breaking its spirit. crushing the girl. |

it is impossible to recognize dubyas comment as valid when bits of lines are being quoted out of context. after 'to celebrate you is greater' they go on to say 'Now that I can-always my man', which too me pretty much solidifies that its about a human being dying. hillel prolly. it seems if a higher power were being discussed then there wouldnt be the many references to a man. in terms of the title, a savior doesnt have to be a greater power- i consider many of the people in my life saviors. to me he is talking about knowing someone who has such an intense effect on you that they change your life. regardless this song is beautiful especially the call out my name bit, one of my favorite rhcp lines. |
