oh and must comment about Constant: Everybody will have a different opinion on what the new album sounds like and whether or not it lives up to the first album. I personally see the pros and cons of both albums. Musically they have developed very well, lyrically this album is crippled slightly, but it still is AWESOME either way. I will always love what TBS puts out (as long as they stay clean) so it doesn't matter to me either way. TBS is awesome. |

| I find it entertaining how your all arguing over whether or not Thrice is a Christian band when that really isn't the issue. The fact is that this song, like it or not, comes from Proverbs, a chapter in the bible. I agree that it is just a retelling of the story. Wow I think this song rocks. It has to be one of TBS's best written songs. I love the emotion behind it. And I love how his voice just tells the whole story in how he sounds. This rocks. |

Funny how everyone keeps saying "cocky". I don't think this album makes Jesse sound cocky at all. If anything, YFW was more of a bitter, angry, I-want-to-beat-your-ass kind of album, and this one is more self loathing than anything else. Just my opinion though. Oh a few other things before I go. Just to add my confirmation (not that it really matters all that much) but Jesse does ALL of the vocals on the album (and wonderfully, might I add). Just because the band had one squable and produced one of the best songs ever written about it does not mean that they are rediculously lost in the past and forever holding on to this grudge and therefore write EVERY LAST SONG ABOUT IT. If anything, I think they are getting over it. Lastly, Awesome song. "Ask me what it's like to have myself so figured out... wish I knew" Awesome Line. There be my opinion. Okay, I was gonna keep my mouth shut but a can't. First, about the song. Awesome, if they had left the f-word out. It's so tasteless. Frankly I'm surprised at them for putting it in there. Second- about GC and Simple Plan. The hell they didn't make themselves. Those kids worked their asses off to get where they did. And just because they have five people in the band, and have similar musical taste, doesn't make them unoriginal. They each have amazing lyrics. I have had the pleasure to meet both bands and I must say that I am very proud of what they have accomplished and they deserve it all. They are amazing people and they don't take ONE BIT of their success for granted. So don't hate on them. -XBeautifulLetdownX |

I'd like to say I agree with those who dislike people saying bands "sell out". What do you think bands work for? RECOGNITION. What band WOULDN'T want someone to walk up to them and say "your from (insert band name here), wow, I have your CD and I really like it." BANDS WANT APPRECIATION. Its so stupid to say a band has sold out. What their doing is getting what they deserve. And as long as they don't change their sound to fit the mainstream, then whats the problem? I say PLAY ON. |
