I heard an interview with Elliott Smith about this song. He said it was about a friend of his and that he was telling him to be patient, things were going to happen for him, he just had to wait a bit. Thats practically a direct quote- it was with Richard Kingsmill on JJJ. Beautiful song as you would expect from elliott RIP |
