This is THE song that got me hooked on TON. I heard a coworker playing this track and heard "I hate the morning..." and thought, you know what? Me too, dammit. But then I heard the whole song and I was blown away. I HAD to get the CD! |

I can't get enough of this song...I play the hell outta this track VERY loudly. I bet my neighbors hate me! Who cares, they'll adapt or call the cops one :) This is another of the first songs I heard from TON that made me buy their CDs. |

The reference to a "cinnamon girl" can be thought of as either a spicy-sweet girl or a girl with a cinnamon complection. In either case, she's a refuge from the riggors of the nightly grind to make it big; a supporter of the artist's dream.
Oh, and as for the fact it's a remake...I MUCH prefer this version to the original. Niel Young sucks as a singer, he write's well though. |
