Black Sabbath is my all-time favorite group. Hence the "Iceman_cometh" just like ozzy's album the "ozzman cometh" the iceman, is because where i live it is always cold. Anyway, being a die hard Sabbath fan, this song doesn't piss me off. Mostly because i think NoFX is the greatest Punk band ever to live, and also, because this song is funny. Partyly because Fat Mike and the rest of the guys made this song before Fat Mike ever had singing lessons, and also because it is an ode to who inspired them. Fat Mike has actually said that he would take back his first couple albums if he could because he sucked at singing so bad, and this song happens to be on one of those albums, Maximum Rock-n-Roll is the album. This album and this song (obviously) were recorded when the band was poor and were playing in bars, not arenas.

he feels like a newborn cuz he was naked and he tried to keep warm by crawling in some obese womans kootch. she crapped him out when she couldn't hold him in any longer and he fell out and felt liek a newborn, and he wanted people to take pictures so he could remember, because his brain can only hold 30 minutes of memory before it is erased. and his dad always told him when he was growing up that he wouldnt be able to crawl into a woman's kooter and he made a bet with his dad for a new green schwinn bike to the winner of the bet. I guess this former member of NIN is ridin a green schwinn these days wouldn't you say? hmmmm?

This song is about his woman tryin to keep him on a leash makin him do what she wants and not lettin him be. and how he's had enough of her shit, and hes not gonna change, because he is who he is. I saw these dudes on Ozzfest last year. they were damn awesome. I met the whole band afterward and they all autographed my cd of theirs, they were totally nice. the singer was wearin sweet fuzzy pants like in the picture on the back of the cd case.

this song is about the bull getting his revenge on the matador who is making the bull go where he wants. The bull kills that fruity little spannish dude, because he has been stabbing the bull. Pretty much like a kid getting revenge on his parents for pushin them around their whole lives, or an employee tellin his boss "F**K YOU" and quitting. its about getting even basically.

I'm lazy, and didnt read anybody besides MechaBunny's comment, and i just wanted to say it is obviously that Davey is saying that his beautiful one (significant other) has sinned and done wrong, and if he could, he would erase her history and past of deceit and wrong-doing, and he would die for her if he had to do that to clense her soul. If his death is the only way to show her that he forgives her for what she has done he would indeed do that. because he loves her. If you've ever seen that movie The Order with Heath Ledger and that fat guy, well Davey is like the Sin Eater from that movie. In that movie, Heath's character actually eats his lover's sins and takes on their burden, but he cleanses her soul, because that pain on himself is worth lifting the pain off of her. Thats what i get from the lyrics anyway, but i'm not a critic, otherwise i'd get paid to do this. i'm out

It is saying how he tries to change, "trust me" that is like his begging to be forgiven for what is done. He keeps saying that he wants to start this over, he wishes he could undo all the wrong he has burdened his loved ones with. "Trust in me and fall as well", that is saying that if you do trust him you will be inconvenienced greatly, and he will bring you down. thats what i get from the lyrics anyway. This is one of Tools greatest songs, definately the best on this album. But Opiate is my favorite album. But you know what they say about opinions, they're like assholes. everyone's got one

Killswitch Engage – My Last Serenade Lyrics

I hate classifying music. I listen to a more diverse variety of music than any person i know. I go from Killswitch, to Vivaldi, to Johnny Cash, to Paul Simon, to Bob Marley, to TOOL, to AFI, to Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath(greatest band ever!), Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robert Johnson, all the way to Glenn Miller. There is no classification of music genres. It is retarded to try to do so, someone in hear has classified Killswitch as hardcore, AFI claims to be hardcore (hence their EAST BAY HARDCORE merchandise), and killswitch doesn't sound much at all like AFI. the only thing they have in common is that they both make music and the lyrics are screamed beautifully. Anywho, i got off track. this song to me means, Fuck you, this is your last chance, i am not gonna do all the work in this relationship anymore. thats my opinion anyway.
