christian people, chill. it is NOT that clear that this song is about god.. i don't have to be a christian to be more than carbon and chemicals, i can be an atheist and i'll still be more than carbon and chemicals -- i think, i have a soul. i have a name, an identity, regardless of my beliefs; i have my own free will (maybe more than people who follow god's word); "raise up the banner, bend back your bows".. people bow before god.. so isn't this a little bit against what you people are saying? "though all the world may hate us, we are named" the christian have hated as much as people hate them, or even more. "we can't allow this, the quiet cull" again, the christians have been rejected and have rejected a lot as well. please.. this might apply for you people, but PLEASE accept the fact that this song is about much more than the christians! it's about anyone who is rejected, forced against their will, whatever -- no specific group, no specific belief. btw, i had a christian education, i'm from a christian family and a christian country. just to make things clear. |

i'd say this is about everyone having the same goals in life, everyone wants to go as far as they can (or sometimes can't).. they're saying we don't need to stretch yourself to the limit, you don't need to be pursuing richness and power all your life like everyone wants to.. the alternative is a modest life, which is good enough for us and doesn't hurt the others. you have time to look at the clouds, and you don't need to pollute because clean energy is enough... something like that :P the part that confuses my theory is "though we bleed we must push on".. i don't know how that fits.. |

i think that official lyrics to El Cielo were released on the german dredg website (at least they're almost perfect, i've been relying on them since El Cielo came out).. this song might be called Delta as well... because a delta is a symbol that looks like a triangle and is often used (in physics, for example) to mean variation. and this song is definitely connected to that (life and death). |

this IS lechium! i also thought it was Crosswind Minuet for some time, but then someone told me the first song is actually the symbol song, and not movement 1.. the intermission is in "traversing through the artic cold..."'s track.. i don't know much about this song's meaning, but i don't think that "Beneath currents of hope and faith " is associated to stagnancy... currents imply movement to me. It's like people are driven by religion/beliefs (hope and faith), but it's time to get rid of that control ("Now it is time To surface.").. |
