| The Number Twelve Looks Like You – The Garden's All-Nighters Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
This song's about growing up in New Jersey, where TNTLLU and I are from. Jersey is The Garden State, get it? We also have more diners per suqare mile than any other place on Earth. The whole state's got sweet beaches, Quick Chek for North Jersey, WaWa for South Jersey haha |

| this song is about internet porn. lyrics like suck it down, Upload, signing up, capture the pain, and the whole last line just seem like its the only thing it could mean to me | |

| Pearl Jam – World Wide Suicide Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Aside from his position, i don't really like the lyrics to the song, but how about the actual musicianship on the song? It rocks more than most songs on Riot Act i think, definetly reminds me of Yield. | |
| The Dillinger Escape Plan – Unretrofied Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
i think its some nod to the modern situation of people liking retro things, as a fad. stores like urban outfitters can charge 70$ for pants that come pre-ripped, hes "unretrofied" as taking a stand to not be "modernized" to follow the trend of retro. the can half diseased/disease half canned could be about TV, a can, with the disease, or fads, being spread by the media and the man half machine/machine half man could be about technology and how were trained to want that stuff. the chorus sums everything up, people faking trends ands interests, time wasted repeating trends or maybe im just looking too far into this |

| Glassjaw – Two Tabs of Mescaline Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| definetly one of the best off the new album..as to the meaning of this song..there used to be a web page, www.glassjawband.com, definetly the best GJ on the web, anyway they had a song meaning page, and darly himself spoke on the lyrics, and said something about this song being about one of his biggest influences in life his friend, very sXe, fell and drank or smoked or maybe did mescaline..anyway he said the song was about his friend selling out | |
| Across Five Aprils – Blue Eyed Suicide Lyrics | 21 years ago |

i really love this song, not so much for the lyrics, they are kind of generic compared tot he rest of A5A's other lyrics, but this is just such a good all around hardcore song, blending the singing with screaming, the thrashing with a melody and whatnot and the whole chorus is one of my favorites out of any song. |

| Across Five Aprils – Snowy Road To Hazard Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
to me this song is about two people who were close at one point, but slowly one begins to see horrible flaws in the other person. i take a personal meanign from this song because ive had more than a few friendships where i began to fall for the other person, only over time i began to realize that the other one tended to be something really different than what i originally saw. this is a really fucking good song. "We're not your ride we're not your boys So save your stories our ears are closed " the insight into girls, stringing along guys is really awesome in the lyrics, i cant wait to hear more from this band |

| Pearl Jam – Mankind Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| i always loved the lyrics to this song, if you read the rhyming parts (magazine, listerine, ovaltine, and te other parts) it sounds ike stones being ironic and just rhyming whatever comes to mind, making fun of the useless pop you hear on the radio, my dad had that idea, even if im looking too far into it, its definetly extra catchy just on purpose | |
| Pearl Jam – In Hiding Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| every time i hear this song i love it a little more, easily one of the best songs on yeild, the chorus is captivating, and its hard not "over-rocking out" when hearing it cause its so..i dunno, somethign more than just awesome or powerful | |
