ok. first off i have to say i never thought a song could be as powerful as this. a friend of mine in america (seeing as how i live in lil old isolated australia) put me onto soco and i've been addicted ever since, but when i heard this i was just... well there aren't words. like so many have said, it can touch everybody and anybody. i was in tears for so long, just coz i kept hearing new and more beautiful things in it every time i listened. anyways, here's my two cents. i'm sure it's been said before, but i'm too lazy and it's too late (11:11 actually) for me to read all of these. so here i go: konstantine (by definition) = an elusive female thought to be beautiful and mysterious, the beautiful girl the boy loves forever i can't remember where i found that, so it may be wrong, but it fits with the song so whatever. |

firstly, LOVE THE SONG. LOVE THE BAND. and i agree with the idea of shattered dreams. however, i think theres more than that. my personal fave lines Wish upon a star but Do you know what stars are? Balls of fire, burning up the black space Falling from the landscape Exploding in the face of God kind of indicate the idea of not only your dreams being shattered, but when they are shattered the world falls down around you. like everything that was beautiful is now heinously ugly. does that make sense? |
